Get Ready for Oktoberfest in Brunswick!

As we approach August’s end, it’s time to start looking forward to the wonders of autumn! September will bring us cooler temperatures, breathtaking fall foliage and one of Brunswick’s favorite festivals – Oktoberfest! This year’s celebration will take place on September 20th, from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and marks the official kickoff of the fall season!

The Oktoberfest festival will be held at the Topsham Fair Grounds, a five minute drive from Brunswick and Travelers Inn. Attendees will be able to enjoy delicious food from local vendors throughout the day, and to cleanse their pallet with a variety of regional craft beers on tap! Tickets can be purchased here.

But what is Oktoberfest without music and entertainment? We have got you covered – local bands from various regions in Maine are scheduled to perform original and popular hits to serve as the soundtrack to the celebration! Local favorites including Backlash, Vinyl Tap, Amy Allen and Kil Collins will be performing throughout the festival. In addition, traditional Oktoberfest activities and games will be on deck, so grab your lederhosen and beer stein!

The entrance fee is $15 and proceeds will benefit the Topsham Land Trust. Enjoy good food and great beer for a wonderful cause! If you haven’t booked your accommodations for this year’s festival, we suggest making reservations as soon as possible as Oktoberfest in Maine brings folks from across the country. Come join us and let’s cheers to a wonderful season!
